50 Cent Loses A Shocking Amount Of Weight

Check out these shocking (and kinda disturbing) images of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson that surfaced yesterday.

My first impression was: this can’t be real. But apparently it is.

50 lost the weight to play the role of a cancer patient in the upcoming film ‘Things Fall Apart’, a movie which he penned, apparently inspired by a friend who died of the disease.

He lost an incredible 54lbs (almost 4 stone), which is astonishing and surely dangerous.
Word is he’s now getting back to normal again after completing the shooting of the movie, on his way to returning to his normal size.

Although a shocking image, and a little disturbing, 50 deserves huge props for the effort and dedication that this took. Let’s hope the movie is good enough to make it worthwhile.

Diggy Simmons – What They Been Waiting For

I’m reserving my judgement on this kid.

Everyone knows him as the son of the legendary Rev Run of Run DMC. He’s been in our homes for the last few years now on the hit MTV show “Run’s House”.

Therefore, it’s not a huge surprise that he’s rapping. His older brother JoJo tried it (and failed, or so it seems), and even his sisters toyed with the idea and appeared in a few music videos.
However, out of all of them, Diggy definitely shows the most promise. He first came to my attention when he released his freestyle over Nas’ iconic “Made You Look” in March… next he was freestyling on BET’s 106 & Park… and now he’s released a video for his track “What They Been Waiting For”, teasing his forthcoming mixtape.

Like I say, I’m reserving my judgement.
I wanna see if this is all just a hype thing because he comes from Hip Hop royalty, or if he genuinely does have talent. I wanna see more of him properly freestyling off-the-cuff, to hopefully bury any suspicion that all his stuff is ghost-written.
Because he certainly is intriguing, and he definitely does hold the most promise of all the Rev Run offspring so far…
I guess we’ll just wait and see.
